What is integrative and functional medicine?

Integrative and functional medicine focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of symptoms. We combine evidence-based practices, nutrition, lifestyle changes, and conventional medicine for a holistic approach to wellness.

How is integrative medicine different from traditional healthcare?

While traditional healthcare often focuses on managing symptoms, integrative medicine emphasizes understanding the root causes of health issues and treating the whole person.

What types of conditions can you help with?

We specialize in autoimmune diseases, chronic conditions, digestive health, hormonal imbalances, weight management, energy concerns, and more.

Do you accept insurance?

Currently, our services are not covered by insurance. However, we do provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. We also accept FSA/HSA cards for payment.

 

At Integrative Insight, we prioritize comprehensive, personalized care that goes beyond the limitations of the traditional healthcare model. Insurance companies often dictate the length and scope of visits, making it difficult to provide the in-depth, root-cause approach that functional medicine requires. By working outside of insurance constraints, we are able to spend more time with you, thoroughly addressing your health concerns and creating a truly individualized plan for lasting wellness.

What should I expect during my initial visit?

Your initial visit includes a comprehensive review of your health history, a discussion of your goals and concerns, and personalized recommendations, with 60 minutes dedicated to your care.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Scheduling is easy! You can book your consultation directly through our online portal or call us during business hours for assistance.

Is a deposit required?

A deposit is required to secure your appointment and will be applied to the total cost of your service. This deposit is non-refundable in the event of a late cancellation (less than 24 hours' notice) or a no-show. If you need to reschedule, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice to transfer your deposit to a new appointment.

Is integrative medicine evidence-based?

Yes, all recommendations and treatments are rooted in clinical research and personalized to meet your unique needs.

Do you replace conventional medicine with natural remedies?

No. We combine conventional treatments with holistic strategies to address root causes and provide comprehensive care.

Will I need to take a lot of supplements?

Supplement recommendations are made based on your specific needs and lab results, ensuring you only take what’s necessary to support your health.

Is integrative medicine only for chronic illnesses?

Not at all. Integrative care is beneficial for anyone looking to improve their health, prevent illness, or enhance their overall well-being.
